How to Use a Hagama Rice Pot
- Begin by washing the rice. Rinse it multiple times until the water runs clear.
- Add rice to the pot. For every 180ml cup of rice, you'll need 210ml of water. Remember, the maximum capacity is 3 cups of rice.
- Pour the required amount of water into the pot with the rice.
- Allow the rice and water to sit for 30 minutes without heating.
- After letting it sit, place the pot on a burner and heat on medium fire with the lid on for 15 minutes.
- As soon as you see steam escaping, allow it to do so for 20 seconds and then turn off the heat.
- Leave the lid on and let the rice continue to steam for another 15 minutes.
- Finally, remove the lid. Your rice is now ready to serve. Enjoy!
