Serve rice the way it has been enjoyed in Japan for generations.

Experience authentic Japanese dining with this handcrafted Ohitsu wooden rice bucket. Made in Japan from premium Sawara cypress, it naturally helps keep freshly cooked rice fluffy, moist and full of flavor while adding timeless elegance to your dining table.

Keep Rice Fresh, Fluffy And Delicious

One of the secrets of Japanese rice culture lies not only in how rice is cooked, but also in how it is served. An authentic Ohitsu rice bucket gently absorbs excess moisture, helping every grain remain soft, fluffy and enjoyable long after cooking.

Unlike plastic or metal containers, natural wood preserves both the texture and delicate aroma of freshly prepared rice.

Traditional Japanese Rice Serving

Used for centuries in Japanese homes and restaurants, the Ohitsu is designed to be placed directly at the center of the table, allowing everyone to enjoy perfectly served rice throughout the meal.

Its 630 ml capacity makes it ideal for couples, small families and elegant everyday dining.

Crafted From Authentic Sawara Cypress

Each rice bucket is handcrafted in Japan from carefully selected Sawara cypress, a traditional wood appreciated for its moisture-regulating properties, light weight and subtle natural fragrance.

A traditional copper hoop reinforces the structure while highlighting the beauty of Japanese woodworking.
