Exceptional Japanese Craftsmanship

Introducing our traditional Hagama Rice Cooker, a symbol of centuries-old Japanese artistry. This exquisite kitchen equipment is not just a cooking tool but a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The robust Banko-Yaki Clay, paired with the elegant Hinoki Cypress lid, brings a unique combination of durability and grace. The clay pot, meticulously crafted in Mie Prefecture, Japan, exhibits exceptional heat resistance and moisture retention, ensuring your rice is cooked evenly and to fluffy perfection. Every element of this steamer cooker, from the ceramic bowl to the wooden lid, echoes the soul of traditional Japanese culinary practices.

The Wonders of Hinoki Wood & Banko-Yaki Clay

At the heart of our Hagama Rice Cooker lies the unparalleled quality of Banko-Yaki Clay and Hinoki Wood. The Banko Ceramic Clay, celebrated for its high heat resistance, ensures that your rice is slow-cooked evenly, retaining all its natural flavors. The Hinoki Cypress lid, sourced from the lush forests of Nagano Prefecture, adds a moisture-resistant, aromatic essence to your cooking, enhancing each culinary experience. This rice steamer’s design, similar to a Donabe Rice Cooker, includes an inner lid and an outer Hinoki lid, which together manage steam and moisture perfectly, ensuring your rice is always fluffy and delicious.

Natural Material, Aesthetics, and Sustainability

Our Hagama Rice Cooker is not just a cooking appliance but a testament to our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness. The natural materials used, including the Hinoki Cypress and the Banko-Yaki Clay, are environmentally sustainable and add an aesthetic charm to your kitchen. The cooker, with its traditional and simple elegance, is not only a cookware but a piece of art, beautiful even when not in use. It's an eco-friendly choice for those who value both culinary excellence and environmental responsibility.

Using the Hagama Rice Pot: A Guide

  1. Begin by thoroughly washing the rice until the water turns clear.
  2. For each 180ml of rice, incorporate 210ml of water (maximum capacity is 3 cups of rice).
  3. Allow the rice and water mixture to sit for about 30 minutes.
  4. Heat on a medium setting with the lid on for 15 minutes.
  5. Once you notice steam, turn off the heat after 20 seconds.
  6. Keeping the lid on, allow the rice to steam for an additional 15 minutes.
