Handcrafted in Yokkaichi, Japan, this Banko Ware donabe combines traditional ceramic craftsmanship with a deep Tenmoku black glaze that brings understated warmth to your kitchen and table.

The heat-resistant Japanese clay pot distributes heat evenly and retains warmth, gently cooking ingredients while bringing out their natural flavours.

With its 2-litre capacity and suitability for direct-flame cooking, use it as a donabe rice cooker for fluffy rice, a ceramic steamer with the steaming insert, or a traditional hot pot for soups, stews, sukiyaki and shabu-shabu.
