Handcrafted in Japan from natural igusa rush grass, this tatami yoga mat brings a touch of nature into your practice space. Its woven texture and gentle fragrance create a calm, welcoming setting for yoga and meditation.

The breathable igusa surface helps regulate moisture and has natural antibacterial and deodorising properties, making it pleasant to use during everyday practice. The lightweight TPE backing helps keep the mat in place. Its natural texture and thoughtful design harmonise with simple interiors, creating a peaceful space to pause, breathe and move.

A refined mandala design offers a visual point of focus, while the generous proportions give you room to stretch and move comfortably.

Irasshai was born in Japan, alongside the artisans who still make everyday objects the way they have for generations.

We select every piece in person, check it before it leaves, and ship it directly from Japan. No middlemen, no anonymous warehouse: authentic objects, chosen by a team that lives here.

 How long does delivery take?

Your order is packed in Japan and shipped express. Allow 3–10 business days depending on your country. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as it ships.
 Will I pay customs fees?

On orders over €200, VAT, duties and shipping are included, so there's nothing to pay on delivery. Below that, the carrier may collect these fees on delivery.
 Are your products authentic?

Yes. Every product is made in Japan and sourced directly from Japanese artisans and makers. We check each one before it ships.
 Can I return an item?

You have 14 days after delivery to return an unused item in its original packaging. Opened consumables can't be returned.
 How do I care for my product?

Each product page details the right care. Natural materials such as wood, ceramic and fibres need only simple care and develop a beautiful patina over time.
